Stontalon Mounts Mineral nodes to long interval for spawns.

First off thank you for fixing the mineral node spawning issue.


Has anyone noticed that stone talon mountains mineral nodes are having weird spawning times.??? from my memory of vanilla you could run the circuit around the valley with alliance flight path master and down the valley toward hard area and mine most of the nodes in around 16 min or so an come back before they respond.

The copper and tine nodes are pretty close to this time frame , but the Iron ones are going upto 30 min plus before respawning. I know some of the tin and can take the place of some of the iron spawning. This si not what is happening. I did one 2hr session their and another 90 min session and can differently tell that iron nodes are not spawning correctly time wise.

WAS this change implemented to combat the ease of iron mining in this area ????

OR is this par to node dynamic spawning which was supposdly put in ???

You may or may not have known this, but for the last 10 days +/- there have been major problems with ore & herb nodes not spawning in Eastern Kingdoms(at least in Elwynn Forest, Westfall and Redridge). Nos knows about it, and are working on a fix.

I know that I'm finding copper & tin in the Barrens. And I'm finding sufficient herbs in Darkshore, Ashenvale, Stonetalon and the Barrens. Nodes do exist in Kalimdor, but yeah it's possible that respawn timers are acting weird due to whatever is causing these other issues.

I am aware of the issue but that was with nodes not spawning at all as i understood it.

My issue i have notice in my original post was with one zones iron nodes not spawning in the appropriate time frame. As I understand the timing of these iron nodes it is roughly 17min. I have kept checking and that iron nodes are not spawning in normal time frame. Their can be Tin nodes that spawn as place holders for some of the iron nodes in this area , but that is not what is happening.

Iron nodes and their placeholder are taking as long at 40min to spawn.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this abnormality or it was changed on purpose due to how relatively easy it is to farm the iron ore as and alliance player in this particular zone.
