what class and role is most needed now for raids?

I haven't yet made my first character and Im wondering what should I choose for my main. Is it tanks, priests, locks?

unrelated the lv 60 mount is 1000g, right? is it hard to make that gold in this new realm? alliance

I can't tell you what exactly is needed for raids, BUT please roll horde, there are way too many allies already (more than 60:40 A:H ratio).

It doesn't work like that. It never did. Roll the class/spec you have most fun with and you are adept at.. You will be staring at that rump for a long. long time. If you roll some 'trendy' class instead of your most fun one, you will fail, no matter the 'server shortage' of the moment. If you roll a healer just because 'there is a shortage of healers' on the server and act as an arrogant primadonna, in my raid I would kick your butt so hard, even if it meant everyone had to spam bandages for the rest of the day.
Play what you like, not what people expect you to play. Don't be a burden, be an asset

I dont. I dont mind playing 'whats needed', it just helps narrow down my options

On this server can you have both factions characters on same account? what about on different realms?

an answer for the gold mount questions pls. It matters because Im gonna pick warlock for the free mount if it's a big issue now. The expense matters on a new character with no main to be fed gold from, right?

On the pvp server you can have both horde and ally on the same account, i'm positive it's te same for this one because you can use your account for both pvp and pve server.
