Will the PvE realm eventually have similar population to PvP

So far up to lvl 20 it is very nice: there are always people everywhere to do elite quests and such, but it is not insanely overcrowded as it is on the pvp server.

The only thing I am a little bit afraid of in the future is the "switch" and transfer to BC, as it would spread much more the player base, which might then seem a little bit small. But I may be wrong, and anyway this is not something we have to worry about for quite a long time !

In my opinion the TBC release is not going to happens soon(tm), otherwise they will rip apart their only selling part of their servers, which is the population.

In my opinion the TBC release is not going to happens soon(tm), otherwise they will rip apart their only selling part of their servers, which is the population.

They already said a TBC server won't open until after all the content is cleared.

Q. WHAT'S NEXT ONCE ALL THE CONTENT WILL BE CLEARED?

A. A new TBC server will be opened after some months by the community we depend on. This new realm will be completely independent from Nostalrius Begins, that will continue to be supported. Additionnaly, the Nostalrius players will have the possibility to copy any character to the Burning Crusade realm. Once again, Nostalrius Begins will always stay online, and will always have its own dedicated staff.

A lot of folk will stay in the Vanilla server which will divide the community to the point where its a lose-lose situation to everybody.

There will certainly be a split between the player base but that is inevitable. When players who have started from the PVP or PVE server from day 1 get through all of the Vanilla content, there's nothing really left for them to do. Do you just expect them to keep farming Naxxramas forever? Nostalrius will want to keep its player base. In order to do that, they have to keep producing content. Nostalrius is trying to replicate the progression of WoW over the years. It started with Vanilla and moved onto BC after all the content was complete.

Also, Nostalrius is still growing in popularity. It's still way to early to tell how many players will be around over the next year or so. The 30k or so players may turn into 100k people. It's all hypothetical at the moment.

If/when they release a TBC server, I personally see myself playing on both because Naxxramas is such a fun and challenging raid I still will want to raid it. I know multiple other people who will be doing the same thing.

I played for a couple months on E. Dream (PvP), Nostalrius Begins (PvP), Kronos (PvP), PrimalWoW(PvE), before this server,and yesterday, Sunday the 13th December, when I logged in (EU time), there were 2600+ players online! 2 months after the release! It's mind-blowing!
What was the peak like on Emerald Dream in it's heydays?
