Reputation Question (Horde / PvE)

Hello there, I just wanted to ask a few questions about reputation pre 1.4.

1.4 will introduce the removal of the old 60 mounts and the introduction to the cloth QMs and AV. Before this happens is there anyway to gain exalted with Darkspear Trolls and Orgrimmar? I wanted to get the raptors and wolves as a tauren, as I prefer this race over orcs and trolls but I'm just wondering how to get to exalted besides quests before 1.4? As you can probably guess I want the 'special' mounts before they're removed.

Is it possible to get exalted with the other factions pre 1.4? Will there be a gap between the cloth QMs introduction and the removal of the mounts to allow time to at least try to get to exalted via cloth turn ins if there's no alternative method? Or am I better just rolling a troll, buying the raptors / wolves and waiting for race changes to be implimented? If that ever even becomes possible.

I guess I'm on my own on this one, lol. I'll tell you all if I find a way around the cloth vendor.

As far as I can tell quests are pretty much it. None of my google searches are coming up with mobs to grind out, only Chen's Empty Keg http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=819 repeatable quest for garabge rep. Might behoof ...heh... you to just go back and do all their starting zone quests and such. I got up to just under halfway thru revered at level 31 with SW as a human (I know I have a bonus). At level 60 this should only take a day or two.

Sadly this was a huge mistake. You are punished for doing low level quests at a high level.

At 54 starting zone quests were giving me between 5 and 50 rep, instead of 250, etc. Anyone who decides to go back I warn you now; don't make the same mistake I did. If you plan to get your rep up with a faction do it at the level the quest expects you to be.

I was indeed wondering the same thing, but came to the conclusion that it's not possible (at least not, when you start grinding rep at 60).

Before i start leveling my undead priest, i done some research and made a list of avalible troll-rep quest, so i dont waste any rep as lvl 60...so i stared doing them from lvl1
Im still faaar away from exalted @60, so it is def. Not possible!

About orc rep: this is def. Possible somehow, since i already seen a tauren on a wolf

It's not possible, just start saving gold, they will put the mounts on sale for 1000g for a boe mount for a week before the change to new mounts
