Also remember, Warrior does not equate Tank. A lot of Warriors won't tank and only DPS. You can't base the need for Tanks on the census.

Tanks are in demand. If you roll a Warrior (or any class that can Tank, although right now Warriors are the most viable Tank for Raids) with intent to Tank, you will be in demand. For leveling, once you get in the 40s, you could supplement your leveling with dungeons. I regularly see people looking for a Tank for SM and above.

Leveling Warrior and a tank is probably very time consuming so definitely recommend to roll 2 classes at once and make use of the Rested XP buff from the inns - so that during the quiet time or when you just want to relax, you play eg. Warlock while when you are ready to rock, you roll in warrior and check LFG chat for the calls for the muscle. Plus you can balance 4 various professions across 2 chars to complement each other =)

I've never had a problem finding a group at any role on the alliance side. In general chat you definitely see groups asking for tanks and healers more than dps, but I think it's worth it to roll a class that you'll enjoy the leveling process of.

In retail WOW I was always horde at heart, but the pvp server here has turned my love for undead into a blinding hatred. I'll never roll horde again on any server.
