WOW Ironman challenge on vanilla

Sounds extremely easy, if you just grind it to 60 on mobs 5-6 levels below you. While not attending any dungeons and not fighting any elite units its actually stupidly easy to do that challenge.

In my opinion it would need some additional rules.

Yeah that is true. Would be a challenge if you did level appropriate stuff and like its been said its more of a personal achievement so the rules can pretty much be as strict as you want.

Roll a paladin, if you make it to 10sec bubble you should be fine...

It is actually not. For a few reasons:

No green gear, spec and flasks allowed. Which makes it easy on lower levels, but at higher you will be smashed if you don't plan really very very carefully.

If you want to be challenged and doubt that it is hard - you should try it.

I did that challenge but the highest level I reached was 72 before to move to a new game's release. For the Vanilla part the most dangerous zone, most avoided it, is: Eastern Plaguelands, I lost a few level ~45 there.

I'm not going to do it yet here but I thought about it a few days ago hence my surprise when I saw this topic.

Note that we, normally, didn't choice the race, class and used a random character generator tool. Rogues and Priest were hard and the easiest was Night Elf druids and hunters.

That challenge is the top school to learn definitely how to play in the matter of strat and positioning for the pulls. An unforgettable experience and a major improvement of the behavior and awareness of the game world surroundings. One will never play any MMORPGs the same after that.

I second this although wasn't able to get to that high level.

Not strictly IronMan, but I set my goal as a Mage to only wearing clothes I made myself and a white weapon (sword or dagger).

I was using only the skinning knife but as that has no weapon skill I was getting 50% missis after level 6.

I also considered 'unarmed' and may go back to this soon as I don't really melee anything (its just a skill to level) and I shall be getting wands at level 15.

I still have my toon registered on the wow ironman challenge, the problem is people do cheat and figure if they don't tell anyone they can be secretly happy.

I would glad to be apart of this... If there was a way to have an active armory that showed deaths
