No loot in MC after the DM "Fix"

I figured, cleaning up after screw ups isn't considered cool.

Well to be fair, you guys knew the server was not functioning correctly going into MC. Granted, there was no way of knowing that the bosses were not going to drop loot at all, but you still knew the server was not functioning how it was the day prior. Risky to raid during a time like that, even if it was during your normal scheduled raiding hours.

Respawning bosses and/or resetting raid IDs would open up pandora's box when it comes to server crashes/disconnects/rollbacks, etc. I can see people saying "well you reset <Insert Guild Name Here>'s raid, why won't you reset ours" into "Nostalrius is biased towards <Insert Guild Name Here>, they gave them 2 MC clears this week"... Would be terrible for the server.

Well just be glad it's only Lucifron and Magmadar then. Rather than a full clear.

Thing is, the moment they allow resets of raid ID's, they have to be fair across the board. Whether it's MC, BWL, ZG, whatever. It doesn't matter. It's all or nothing. They wouldn't be able to pick and choose and still be fair to the community as a whole.

Goon Squad has encountered an issue where we lost out on loot before even though we did nothing wrong. We masterlooted Nightslayer Pants to the rogue that won them, even took screenshots of him getting the box that says "Do you want to give Nightslayer Pants to <Rogue>." (because of issues on other private servers it's a habit) and for some reason they went to one of our mages. We sent a ticket with the proof and they still said no.

Not the same reason you lost out on loot, but the outcome was still the same. Lost out on loot but did nothing wrong... unfortunate, but it is what it is.
