PvE servers are simply superior. World pvp was never fun because it'll never be remotely fair, you're either ganked or you gank. If I want pvp I've got BGs.

World pvp is essentially a game mechanic where you instantly die for no apparent reason, it's just bad game design.

No more teenagers without a credit card to play retail ruining the fun for all the grown ups who just want to enjoy vanilla WoW.

Past lvl 30 is really annoying to quest, constantly being ganked or attacked.

I am a mature player with a job, family and so on. I really value my time.

There is to much time wasted on "PVP" servers, quests that should take 30mins ends up taking hours, and gives a very bad gameexperience.
Fights are never fair and it is always cowards attacking when you are on low hp or are 10-15levels under them, or it is like 5and 1-2mobs vs 1.
+ Ganking is just not me, i consider it pointless and beneath me.

I played on a pvp server on live, but I just don't have the time or patience anymore.

I don't hate pvp like some people said they did, and I do hope that there will be enough people to populate battlegrounds.

Very excited about the possibility of a well populated classic realm.

60 Druid on the PvP realm. I haven't played on the pvp server in months.

-While leveling a Druid was a blast, raiding on one was extremely boring.
-Consumables. It's not a big deal with the current content but AQ40 + Naxx is going to be a nightmare on the pvp server with how difficult it is to herb because of the population.
-Fresh Start

I played WOW for 8 or 9 years. I started right at retail launch. And in all of those years I only played on a PVP realm. That being said, I'm older now. I have a family, I'm a father, and I have a career. My time is limited, and what is normally a very enjoyable experience is ruined once you hit the first contested zone.

Being ganked by ?? over and over and then having to run back over and over gets old very fast now. You can't get anything completed. Ganking on this server is way more of a problem than anything I dealt with in Vanilla retail.

Then you see post on these forums saying "cry more" and "vanilla bro" and "rekt". Well that's great, but I really don't have the time for some kid with too much time on his hands and enjoys ruining other's playtime. It really just isn't worth my valuable time. Last night I saw some idiot post a video on youtube showing him gank the same player, for weeks, over and over. On this server. He said in the comments he ganked that person well over 50 times. Just for the fun of it and to ruin their experience. WTF??

PVE server for me now.

1. A fresh start is massively appealing to me.

2. The PvP realm is overcrowded. The 2.5k cap will be nice.

3. I love PvP... but I also love being able to relax and do some PvE without being ganked. BG's satisfy my need for PvP. And I can even do world PvP on PvE server if I so choose.

I levelled a human warlock to 32, then got news about the coming PvE server and decided to step down.
I want to be there when it begins!
And ofc I hate being ganked. Not that I sit around and cry in /1 about it though.
I'm VERY optimistic that I will be playing an undead warlock.
