this is pretty much online bullying and every one that is writing hateful comments are pretty much worse than any thing your talking about. Goon Squad are cool and Poplock is a nice guy

This thread was made a week ago when Poplock was probably one of the worst kinds of people to outsiders.

Dude is making a legitimate effort to get his guild, guild mates, and himself a second chance. I've personally already acknowledged his efforts and I've not encountered a single issue. Sure you get that asshat in World Chat, or those specific sub-60 players who are mouth pieces of the forums, no names in particular but that can't be helped by him. He doesn't have direct control over what people do but the guy is in fact making an effort and people should give him the chance.

Though @Oitake, it was very unwise of you to bump this four day dead thread because anyone who looks at these forums is going to see posts like this, assume Goon Squad is cancer from the get-go and perpetuate the problem. Granted the forums aren't active, any threads as of the last few days. Honestly any thread regarding GS before the 14th should be voided of all content and locked. That way they can be given at least a clean slate on the forums, people can hold to their grudges if they choose but no reason GS should be hindered in redemption by the forums because they aren't particularly active.

Well I saw the stream I didn't mind the way he was playing cool...but I saw things that was wrong against other players by this little guy and I'm just saying my opinion here to make this clear that's all i don't mind the guy and I do believe if he was a jerk or jackass before, at least not only him but everyone deserves a second chance.

Also for the record I'm not stalker but I use the media, usually when ppl stream a good thing when u see someone in-game while u stream...a good think would by not mocking the person or make sarcastic comments and actually answers to the ppl that ask u stuff in twitch, the other way around is rude by saying these things I'm point my finger to real facts that I was witness, and to say the truth there is a reason why ppl badmouthing about this guy pop and with good reason they don't make these stuff about him out of their minds, there are actually a lot ignoring this lock but yes ppl do deserve 2nd chances

And no it's not 1-side story I don't know about newbies but surely I believe ppl like me and others players that lurk around in nostalrius, we do learn the news fast from one to another and see who the wanted guy is, and I can verify as well what have been spoken here was true.

It's also true we all share some kind reputation ourselves so for that reason it's not good trying to yell so much someone at least not in forum cuz there is no point, we all know who goon squad is and what members are in(like Ashlan[1st 60]), and maybe some of us had more conflicts with this particular person but is not cool trying to...how should I explain it?...shame someone or try reduce his reputation it's a bit childish with no mean to offend the author of this thread but the reason I'm saying this is because there is no point to yell about something that ppl are alrdy are aware of what u posted here but try for real tho was not good idea posting it tho, cuz whatever happens in vanilla should stay in vanilla keep that in mind next time.

Tbh, it was on the front page, so I read it. I don't check for dates when it's on the front page. Then again I think four days is a little short... I can easily not start my computer for four days and still want to read up on what happens.

Four days is nothing at my age. It's not even a full week of work.

edit: good luck on restarting the guild, though. Ofcourse everyone deserves a second chance. Hope it works out for you and the guild.

I still don't mind Poplock as a person even though he likes to try and take jabs at me every chance he gets and in doing so, says some pretty idiotic remarks like "Ironfoe isn't a rogue weapon." which he later tried defending 1-2 nights ago. At this point I just playfully banter with him even though some might perceive my comments as attempts to be offensive. (I have a very difficult time coming across as what I'm meaning, I seem to always give the wrong impression)

Like honestly, just ignore the guy if he bothers you, he isn't an accurate representation of Goon Squad's entirety and GS has some pretty cool people. Poplock is more or less just that mouthpiece, much like I am for Deja Vu though I've been making an honest effort to not be a cuntbag because I don't want to be that guy. Poplock is capable of the same, he has shown it in the past just I have no idea why he feels it necessary to beat his chest at everyone who isn't in GS as a sign of supremacy (even though he doesn't have any supremacy to flaunt)

TL;DR - Goon Squad cool people, wish them the best. Wish Poplock would be a little more approachable to others but he isn't an overly bad person. At least not worth a whole thread dedicated to bashing the guy. He isn't that bad a person.
