I wouldn't expect this to launch before 2016.

Its now officially october and it was announced in august of the pve server. We havent heard anything about the status of the servers development whatsoever. Does opening up a new server take 1-2 months or is this something that takes 3-6 months or longer?

Depends on the priority that you give to the task. My impression is that it has not been a priority, BWL release was (and is).

Are transfers not available because you don't know how to implement it, or because it was a choice on your side?

I really want transfers available for when TBC launches in a long time.

I really want transfers available for when TBC launches in a long time.

Transfers won't be available because they want everyone to be able to experience a fresh server, the patches are different from server side, that would mean alot of work with no reward.

The server is going to get filled up by itself, they do not need to sway people with transfers.

What's next once all the content will be cleared
A new TBC server will be opened after some months by the community we depend on. This new realm will be completely independent from Nostalrius Begins, that will continue to be supported. Additionnaly, the Nostalrius players will have the possibility to copy any character to the Burning Crusade realm. Once again, Nostalrius Begins will always stay online, and will always have its own dedicated staff.
