Yeah I have no idea either. Though if that is somehow the case of "No DM until Horde AND Alliance get kills on Kazzak". . . How much should DV demand as ransom before we turn him over?

I met someone from <Deja Vu> last night. This person was very polite, and most pleasant. He/she/it even complimented me on my choice of character name!

<Deja Vu> keep it up! Any forum needs drama.

Contrary to what forums will tell you, DV is full of nice people. I mean the worst opinion you can have of DV in game is how we act to world bosses, which is the same as everyone else. Though we didn't start griefing Kazzak attempts until we were griefed on attempts first. You can't really consider the forums an accurate measure of a person because I'm an asshole intentionally through forums which makes it funnier when people scream based off my words that we're terrible people. Yet anyone who actually interacts with us in game generally has a positive opinion. Even now I'm skeptical of a lot of the "bad interactions" with DV people bitch about given some dude in BRD tried telling me Vonjo was rude to him a couple weeks ago. Though the guy was also from a guild that outright hates us as far as I know. For those that don't know the guy, Vonjo is easily one of the single nicest people I've met in 11-12 years of playing this game. If he isn't in my top 3 nicest players I've dealt with, he's in the top 5 easily. Even before we were guilded he beat me on a roll for an item and offered to run the dungeon a couple more times to help me out with getting it. I can't imagine him being a bad person ever.

At the very least, don't use my posts to build an opinion of DV, my words are my own opinion (half the time, other half I intentionally say things that'll piss people off and start fights/drama (See my remark a couple posts ago about holding Kazzak for random, that was a joke entirely)) and a lot of the people who bitch at or about me on forums don't even know my in game name. Then when it comes to that I've had people PM me personally about how they hate "XJ9 on the forums" yet are completely shocked when I tell them that's me posting because in game to non guildies and guildies I'm probably one of the nicest people you can meet if that makes any sense. One being a newer rogue that asked me for leveling advice and I wrote him a massive book on it and what talents to choose by level, gave him 30g, helped him on his poison quest and got him his Sword of Omen and Vanquisher's Sword when he got that far.

XJ9 - "I was joking" & not publishing your IGN is not an excuse to make an ass of yourself. You seem to be under the impression that because you're just trying to get a rise out of people or that "I never do this anywhere else" it somehow makes this behavior more acceptable or that it shouldn't affect your or DV's reputation. Unfortunately, that's not how it works, you don't get to decide how people perceive you or DV.

It's your and your guild's reputation, you can do whatever you want with it. But you're simply mistaken if you think the rest of us aren't going to judge the shit out of you and the guild that tolerates this kind of childish behavior. Mature, respectable guilds don't put up with this kind of behavior in game, on the forums, or anywhere else for that matter.

Regardless of what it says in your signature, you have publicly connected yourself to DV on these forums and you can't severe that with some grey text on the bottom. They may be your opinions (or not), but your guild tolerates it and thus they bear the consequences in the court of public opinion. That they don't seem to realize this, speaks volumes for the lack of perception and leadership at DV.
