Another tip I'd like to mention is that if you are using a Vanilla database like db.vanillagaming or anything else, be cautious of clicking old cached links. They can possibly lead to harmful websites.

im useing db.vanillagaming.org for 3 years now and never saw any scam link or w/e there -_-
can you post an example for your warning?

Click on the link Force Commander Danath Trollbane (which is hyperlinked) but the link is broken, even though if you hover over it it says aowow.org. It's just an annoying website, but maybe there's worse.

you can use any 1.12 client
but remember - using modified wow client in not allowed
