As the title states what itemization will the pve server likely launch with? I wasn't here at the launch of the pvp realm, so not exactly sure what timeline it followed.

mostly pre 1.4 items

So no dire maul , almost no scholo miniboss loot, no updated BRD loot, all other instances missing lots of items

This information is available on the forums, check out the latest announcement for it. Also the pvp announcements from 7 months ago are still valid information for the pve server as it will be identical in all but one aspect.
