Will guilds accept these players? When does experience over ride optimization?

Dont know yet, probably the most hardcore ones wont.
Hoping to find a guild like this too. Horde and EU too so will be hard.

nope
PvE server dont mean "playeverything you want"server
so if you wanna play oomkin, enh shammy or cat dps - not sure that anyone will take you in their raid or even dungeon group

I don't care, I love it!
Was enhancer shaman that bad in vanilla? I don't think anyone would be that hardcore meta game for a typical dungeon. Those raging and flaming pros are not fun to play with anyway. OH MY GOD YOU JUST PICKED URGOT PLX REPORT X9 THXXZ - and that in a normal game and not in a ranked?

For raids, I don't know. Maybe in a PUG?

if you love it - than play it and be happy =)
BUT
PUG raids would not ivite you. (99% they would not)
guild raids - maybe, depending on guild, etc/
in PvP or farm or anything else you can play with all you want and like :-)

Hi, not a pro, would not invite period. Playing a broken spec you think is fun in raids means I have to play my correct spec at 100% to make up for your selfishness. No thanks, pop will be good enough that I will always be able to find someone else of your class that will play the right spec to get into raids.

thats 100% correct :!:
if you wanna play as sp, feral/oomkin, enh - be ready to join raids in your correct spec, and collect gear for your off spec

Agreed. If your intent is to mostly do battlegrounds, then by all means, play any spec of any class you like, however, PvE, especially pugged PvE, not so much. For example, most raids will not want, more than a few hybrid DPS specs, and mainly, just for the buffs they bring. That's about it.

Edit: for clarity.

To be honest... a 10 year old content clearable with 75% of the original amount of players also most people are experienced and people stack consumables....
unless its a tryhard guild I dont see the problem in having a few hybrids.. it was said before in a different thread, if you are dedicated enough you can make it happen and not even be the last dps on the list.

also I dont see why people will object less competition on their precious tier sets :p

not going to argue though... each to his own

Playing a "wacky" role in a dungeon is fine. Even with 1.12 mechanics you still won't be welcome in most raids. Once they up the debuff slots to 16 then you may see a Shadow Priest in a raid.
PvP Realm
Malachic - Lv 60 Mage (Frost)
Malapriest - Lv 60 Priest (Heals)
Malahunt - Lv 60 Hunter (Bang/Twang)
