why do people not get flagged for PvP when they attack your Escort NPC? people getting away with ruining your escort quests while you cant do anything about it

Bit off-topic, but shouldn't healing PvP flagged players flag you for PvP aswell? Doesn't seem to work when I do it. Might be mistaken, but perhaps you guys know.

I was wondering about that
I had to kill horde flagged npcs to do bahairs hair or w/e its called in northern ashenvale and didnt get flagged

I wonder if this is is a side effect of how they intended to handle flagging for pvp server, or if this is a temporary side effect of a makeshift patch after they realized the server launched as still PvP

either way hope they fix it, if not Ill just pretend Im on the pvp server, and just be glad the high warlord didnt see fit to kill me as well lol

this smells like bandaid fixing all over.
It seems they just "patched" it by disabling pvp completely unless you type /pvp.

Even more offtopic but still related to quirky PVP stuff - I play with healthbars on, and unflagged Horde players have big red healthbars all the time. In my recollection, only flagged players should have this, but tbh I can't remember back to vanilla on that one - should it be this way or is it another bug? It's annoying, even if it is realistic, a forest of red healthbars around me in Ratchet is a tad intimidating!
