I used to play on Sisters of Elune RP server on retail back in the day. Leveled up while always flagged /pvp. Anyone else do the same? Gives a bit of spice to the otherwise "dull" PVE leveling.
Yes, I know I COULD play on the PVP server, but in general they have more idiots who just live to gank all day. Plus with the massive overpopulation there, you tend to run into people of the opposite faction MUCH more than on a normal retail realm.

Why? I am here to avoid the PvP ganking going on the other server.
I heard that a guild from the PvP server came here, spammed general chat trying to recruit for the other server's guild, and when told that they should stop no one is interested, they proceeded to start harassing everyone.
Why not try getting BG's going?

Nah. I joined a pve server so I didn't have to worry about getting jumped. I have to afk a lot to avoid gf aggro, make dinner, take a shit, etc... I like not worrying about whether or not im gonna die in the few minutes im gone. Graveyard runs are a bitch.

No, if I enjoyed world PvP, I would still be playing on the PvP server.

Yes because PvP is awesome. I find PvP on the PvE a lot more fare and fun. Only carebares and cowards don't flag.

Many people simply wish to be able to enjoy the game and level their characters without disturbances. Before the PvE server was released, the only option available to people was the PvP server, and so they would have had to put up with griefing and being flagged regardless of whether they wanted to be or not. They had no choice, and so it discouraged many people. Although I PvP sometimes myself, I do not like it being forced upon me, especially when I am trying to do something else. What makes the matter worse is that people will intentionally try to ruin enjoyment for others, such as camping their corpses in order to kill them again. Some may like that, but not everyone, and it only encourages more stressful situations. To call it cowardice is simply not true, it is a matter of preference, and what people enjoy more. The fair thing to do is to respect their decision and leave them be, not mock them.

Here you have it boys. This right here is the modern man's test of manhood. I mean who cares about, I dunno, enlisting in the army or fighting lions or being able to lift a 120kg stone to be considered a man. Nope, in order to prove you're not a coward and a carebear in 2015, you need to play a video game on a PvP server.
Oh no wait, my bad, you need to play a video game on a PvE server, but flag yourself for PvP, because the PvP on PvP servers is unfair.

Who the hell said anything about test of manhood and being a man? A lot of people are actually afraid of playing versus another player. They can't handle it and being a man and not a coward is proven by a lot of things. A soldier killing lions with 120kg rocks, but being afraid of pixels is still a coward. And if you could face players that are at max 10 levels above you on the PvP server then it would be so much more fun. Alas it is too overcrowded and people take it too personally when you get killed.
