Lack of WSG

I know that this is a PvE server, but I'm surprised by the absolute lack of WSG queue's. I'm hoping it's because everybody is pushing to 60, but I was really looking forward to some twinkless BGs while leveling.

Anybody else share the desire to actually see some WSG action?

Let's get it done!

Are we talking about sub 60 BGs? If so I think since its a pve server the mentality is to push to endgame as soon as possible, where the pve is.

give it a month for everyone to hit 60.
For low level pvp they wont be happening outside level 19 twink wars.

I've run across a number of people who have all stated they'd like more BG's while leveling up. I'm certainly on record as wanting more of them myself. I think we need a thread devoted to organizing some. Just something simple where people state what bracket they are in and what time they are available to play. If each of us who want these would do this, we'd all increase our chance of getting some.

Currently I have a 25 lock and an 18 mage - both alliance. I'm an east coast NA player. I can get on most nights, and the occasional afternoon. (my time - my afternoons would be EU nights. I'm 6 hours behind server time.) If I knew we had enough people available (both horde and alliance) during my afternoons, I could sometimes reschedule my work to be available then.

So please post your bracket, time zone, and availability.

(PS - I'd also like some AB's. I like them even better than WSG)

This is true for many people, but not for everyone. Hundreds of people might be racing to a pve end game. That's fine. You don't need "everyone", or even most people to do it to get something going. You only need 5 Alliance and 5 Horde in a given bracket to queue up at the same time to get it going.

For the first update, I managed to get as far into rank 3 as is possible for the level. I got standing 22. A good friend of mine focused on it much more, and got standing 2. I played a few games with the guy who got standing 1. But I've also met a guy who got standing 176, and a number of people in between. Given your standing is only measured against your own faction, this means that at least 176 Alliance players queued up before the first update.

If you want games - it's important to queue up, even though it can be inconvenient, and the wait sometimes long or even fruitless. The people who have responded, saying there won't be any action until 60, mean well, and only want to give information that they believe to be true. But if all the people who want BG's believe it, it will become a self fulfilling prophecy that did not have to happen.

So...
Queue up,
help others to queue up,
post information about your availability,
encourage others to do the same - and lets get something going! :D

I think the fix here is for all of us to just queue as often as possible. I've been a bit lazy about it since queue's don't fire much in the 30's bracket, but I'll start staying perma-queued when I'm online. Spending 5-6 minutes flying to a capital and back to queue when I log in isn't that big of a hassle.

Perma Q is a good idea

I try to be in the queue always. A removal of the need to go to a capital to queue would be great though. Especially for the leveling people who may log in at some inn in the middle of nowhere. It's one of the instances where it doesn't really matter if its blizzlike or not. We're here to have fun after all. Or at least add more battlemasters.

Truth when they never open we dont get to play so why have bgs if its an empty promise. But i know it would be difficult to code this
