Mage or Warlock for end-game PvE?

Hey folks. I'm just curious as to the landscape of the current end-game, and which class would be most beneficial to roll between these two. Thanks for any advice you have to offer!

Hi! I play lock.

What I see in raid, you have more Mages per Raid than Locks.

Mages supply food to healers and people who ask nicely.
Mages can sheep humanoids.
Mages have higer DPS than Locks.

Warlocks give healstones to raid.
Warlocks are expected to summon people as needed.
Warlocks give Stamina buff to the group.
Warlocks can banish elementals and demons.
Warlocks can give a resurrection to other player every 30 min.
It is expected that we dot Curse of Elements and Curse of Shadow always and some times Curse of Recklessness per lock.
At this patch we are no allowed to dot more,
We DPS less than Mages.

In Molten core we are in charge of banishing elementals throughout the instance, we were assigned 2 warlocks per one mob in case the first banish were resisted.

And that's it.
In Onyxya I was asked to use my Corruption in phase 2.

They're both incredibly useful in 60 raiding, but as a Mage you're pretty much going to be stuck in Frost (not a bad thing to some players) for a long time due to immunities in the raids. You can change at AQ release, but then you'll be terrible in BWL farm runs.

a T3 mage with soulseeker (is the most beautiful set in all wow)

Here's what both do in end game raiding

Mages: Your rotation at MOST is arcane power + toep + berserking + frostbolt spam. You buff arcane brill, give 40+ water to every caster, portal out. Sheep is awesome for zg, somewhat fringe usage in 40mans

Warlocks: rotation is curse of whatever, then shadowbolt spam. Or curse or whatever, corruption everything + shadowbolt spam. You summon people, healthstones, and banish is used constantly in MC and bwl. Farming soulshards can be painful at times.

From a pure pve perspective I'd pick warlock, their CC is very useful in 40mans, they do comparable dps to mages, and then after zg they begin to outscale mages for the most part.
