Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Is the guild cap of 321 a hard cap and blizzlike? I don't recall that. I don't see any information posted about it anywhere but not sure if this is a bug or not. Forum search isn't particularly forthcoming. Anyone have any input?

If I remember correctly the vanilla guild cap was 300 members.
