BGs at 60, what is going on with horde

I wasn't planning on doing BGs on the PvE realm after the trials and tribulations on the PvP realm, but I went ahead and did some this weekend anyways. The queue times (WSG only) make it difficult to really get into as they are 20-30 minutes, so I can fly out somewhere and grind mats for a little bit or just stand at queue area. It's not terrible, just not ideal.

I did around 10 BGs. In approximately 9 of those, horde had one less than ally. This would be because one of the horde is consistently not accepting queue. This is the real head scratcher- in 8 of the 10, the horde made no collective attempt to even play the BG. A couple times, 2 or maybe 3 people would participate. Where the rest of the horde were, I have no idea. In the other 2 where the horde did participate they beat us 3-0.

I like free honor, but not that much. I end up feeling bad for the few horde trying to do something.

What is going on?

The horde on PvE Server agreed mostly to give (especially on the WSG weekend atm) the alliance fast wins to get still good honor per hour and a free mark.

Since we can't defeat the alliance (which got 2-4 MS Warriors with rag weapons, 2-4 Healers and 2-3 Mages + 2 Hunters and FC's with FAPs, speed boots, lag tools almost every game) and there is only 1 horde premade (and that from one guild only) that was the best option to still get honor without need to tryhard 20-30 minutes in a game which can't be won anyways since we're lacking in MS Warriors, mages who can CC, hunters who can tryhard like Mecca/Groom and the most important; healers who are actually dispelling and avoiding CC.

Its sad and stupid, but why should we even try when alliance is playing it exactly right with a good setup every game.

Really? Nah. Atleast the randoms I've been in have been a semi-disorganized mess at best, ally side. If there's premades being made ally side, I can't wonder at what their queue times must be.

I'm seeing pretty much the same ally over and over right now, the same guys that got beat the few times horde decided to do something. I don't doubt there are some well gered players, but seriously we could have been beaten in every BG I've been in thus far.

Yea we could win actually if we had FC's like the alliance has.

You got like 3 mages and 2 druids who are doing a really good job as FC. We don't have anyone besides one druid every few games who is caring about the flags.

Alliance is instantly running into us after the BG starts. We can't take control over their tunnel or ramp, no one even stealths to the flag. And when for example anyone goes through and takes the flag, he won't live longer than 30 seconds with the flag.

Alliance is doing a really good switch between defense and offensive and has sometimes only 1 person who is charging into like 3 or 4 horde players and even if he doesn't survive, he buys time for his whole team.

Horde doesn't have a good switch, doesn't have good defensive players and everyone is just tired of charging into the teamfight to die instantly.

As long as we don't get the same gear score like alliance has and some more important classes, we won't win that much.

In AB we win a lot actually because horde is splitting very good on bases. But in WSG we're just running one by one mostly after getting rekt in the first fight.

I just did one, let me tell ya what I saw as example. We had one geared player (astoryofus) The rest were slobs like me. Everyone charged for flag (everyone) 3 horde in flag room wanted to do some PvPing yahoo! and half the ally were glad to stick around and oblige. meanwhile the few ally that were playing a BG got the flag and ran back and forth three times. game over.

Last game I played yesterday. No geared players (highest r7). two horde in flagroom for some pvp action. One ally takes flag and refuses to go cap, instead spends the next 20 minutes running around flag room, dancing in the mid. You know who you are. Had to resort to getting the players guld to talk him into capping. Meanwhile in the 10 vs 10 BG, no other horde came out to grab flag or attack EFC. just everyone sitting around doing nothing. was dreadful.

What is going on?

Basically people feel that they're entitled to honor and ranks they've not worked for.

final example. Just played one 8 vs 8. Horde tried to play, did some weird things..like tried gy camping in 8 vs 8, good stuff. Anyways, we had one geared player a warrior. Horde got absolutely rekt by warrior with pocket heals. I mean rekt.

As a Horde that wants to play it sucks to see 6 members of your team AFK in the graveyard. I hope the Nost team will take a look at this and give out appropriate punishments to those that choose to AFK for free honor!

yeah a lot of them arent playing. got to see what naul said this time around. Had both geared priest and tank (astory and ccmdm) not a chance for horde and they didnt even rez....or most didn't. Wasn't what I'd call fun...was downright brutal. Two before this, no geared players either side. Evenly matched and entertaining, but did not see entire horde team playing....so they lost both.

I have 52k honor playing at an extreme casual pace in a day and a half. Not a lot, but considering how few I've played t's decent. only lost 2.

A quick and easy fix for this is to stop giving the bonus honor to the losing team. Make them earn it by winning!
