Is it legal to say, trade someone my gold on pvp server for their gold on pve server? No real money or anything just gold for gold?

I had the same question too.I have a char with legit farmed gold, and wanted to make an alt at the PvE server (since a friend started there).The search tool only showed me cases of people getting banned for buying gold, not transferring.

So, can an admin please respond? I take note that if I get scammed, it's totally on me (risky business and all), and I don't intend to break the market.All I wish is for 15-20g to get some bags and have no probs with learning skills.

One simplle and basic server rule is apparently needed to be repeated over and over every now and then. Considering everything the devs stated in the last couple of months, even before launching the PvE server is: no connections whatsoever between the two servers are allowed,no transfer of characters, no transfer of gold/items/anything. It is a completely 100% new, independent server with the start from scratch. If you were able to transfer anything from the other server, that would give you some sort of unfair advantage and that wouldnt be fair to the other players that start from level one with zero gold. Of course you earned our PvP gold in the most legit way. The reward is the gold itself and hopefully some quality gaming time while doing that.
Starting anew from scratch sould be considered a privilege, not a penalty IMHO.

I don't think there's anything wrong with helping a friend out by giving them 15g- people give each other stuff all the time. Where you're going to get in trouble is making a lot of noise about it and trying to arrange swaps on the public forum etc. So either make a real friend who's willing to do you a favor or grind for the gold like everyone else. Note that being PVE you won't be ganked when leveling, so you can get by on much weaker gear. Also just to point out, the PVE economy itself is pretty different. For one the auction house is a lot less lucrative, which means items are cheaper but there's less gold for sellers. So 20 gold on one does not equal 20 on the other except for hardcoded stuff like mounts.

Bit of an over the top way of saying "I don't think so but I don't really know".

OP https://en.nostalrius.org/terms-of-use There's the rules have a read and determine for yourself whether trading gold is allowed or not. They do not explicitly state that it is forbidden and quite frankly if the only thing that's happening is legally obtained gold on one server is being traded for the same on another server there is no issue.

No its not bannable for christ sake just make the trade u want but care scamers
