"Respawn time of the old world bosses has never been confirmed, but best estimate I've heard is that it spawns randomly 12-72 hours after the instance locks expire weekly. If killed during the week, it has 48-96 hour respawn time." - Googling is hard.

Actually it has been confirmed and thoroughly studied by top guilds back in Vanilla. Nostalrius is nowhere close to "Blizz-like" on this one.
