OUR FIRST RUN WAS GREAT! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR COMING!


1/17 @11:00 AM EST time zone, that is 17:00 server time, this is best time i could think of to try and reach EVERY common time zone, US, EU and east asia

invites for event will begin 30 minutes before race time at 16:30 server time!

My old retail server used to host these for a cash prize (gold obviously) to the winner.

rules are simple, you make a lvl 1 gnome, make sure its naked or at least wearing clothes with no armor value.

everyone starts in darkshire, and runs to BB.. first person to enter the sharks mouth is declared winner and would receive the prize.

more interest will most likely result in bigger prize pools in the future!

CURRENT PRIZE POOL (for 1/17!)

1st place - 25 GOLD + Skull splitting crossbow
2nd place - 10 GOLD + Dark phantom cape
3rd place - 5 GOLD + Poison-tipped bone spear

PRIZES will increase through donations and increased interest in the race and other factors lol



gold for prize pool comes from me, if anyone else would like to donate to the prize pool, please feel free.
If you plan to donate, you must take a picture of the gold trade to me for the winner, mainly because i don't need people saying they donated when they didnt and potentially getting me banned. OR simply send me mail because im pretty sure GMs can look at mail history

-OFFICIAL RULES / GUIDELINES

every participant will be in a raid with me so i can not only observe where everyone is on the map. But to also prevent people from partying with hunters and sneaking in aspect buffs

NEED help summoning level ones to darkshire, so if you got a warlock please volunteer to help summon these chumps!!

-Must be on a level 1 character (We will have a warlock to help summon people to avoid leveling via discovering zones, so once summoned to darkshire, DO not move beyond the town until race time)
-Must be a gnome
-Must NOT have any armor value items equipped
-Must NOT have any beneficial buffs of any kind
-You can NOT spirit rez during the race, you must go to your corpse
-Using the assistance of another player is prohibited (you cant have your 60 friend kill mobs in your way)
-No swimming! you can cross the lake and the rivers but you can NOT swim along the coast down to BB
-NO hearthing / flying! lol, in short you need to walk the whole way!
-NO SPEED ENCHANTS!

Might be a slight issue with the level requirement since people will ding just getting down to Darkshire.

well from starting area itself, it would take quite a long time to get to BB, especially since tram use not be allowed. so starting from darkshire is a better choice, plus.. stitches!
