That's certainly a shame. I assume there was no agreement of the recipe being on reserve prior to running the instance?

I've put him as the not able to talk in guild chat rank, so he's forced to speak with an officer. I'd assume the ring was a pure FR one and was rolled for by several non-tank classes. As several others rolled for it too (it's clearly for a rag tanking set, no other class will need or use a pure FR ring) I can see why he's upset, obviously does not excuse ninja'ing a recipie, worse if he can't use, but I want to speak to him first.

Apologies all round to the people involved, clearly we don't support this, but namecalling on the forum isn't going to help anyone's image, if you're friends with Jaedan, why not just speak to him about the matter at the time?

I agree with this as well. Jetwing, please remove your post if you don't mind (at work at the moment otherwise I would whisper you in-game). Deja Vu's aware of the situation now and will handle it accordingly. Thanks bud.

People need on alchemy recipes all the time(ally side).
No respect for alchemists as myself.
But oh well..

Well if it's everyone needing on the Alchemy pattern (which is a likely scenario in the case of a flask) it's still a fair chance for everyone. However master looting it to yourself with no prior warning before the boss is pretty messed up (I am speaking in general, I don't know all the details to this particular case). I see people advertising runs all the time that have the stipulations of "flask reserved" or "felstriker reserved". In these cases, master looting it to yourself is perfectly fine. You gave everyone prior warning before the instance started. However, doing it on the fly would be pretty messed up or as people say "ninja".

I still think its pretty retarded that everyone needs on Flasks.
People force Master loot on themselves.
Alchemists should always have priority.
imo

That only makes sense. The problem is it's impossible to gauge who has what profession guaranteed unless the guy just happens to have potion materials in their bag. Seen it countless times of people saying "I have this profession!" just to roll need and not really have it. I do believe that it might be possible to tweak the loot system to only allow Alchemists to roll need if they haven't learned it. Though then that breaks Blizzlike and you have to draw a line because emulated server communities are very "Give a mouse a cookie" oriented. On the opposite face of that very same coin, you have a lot of people if you do something THAT minor they scream it's not Blizzlike and suddenly we're inches away from selling epic gear for money.
