Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I never played an AOE class on retail, but I did play on a PvE server. Was it normal to be able to flag a player by jumping into their AOE, ie blizzard or cons etc?

Just had a higher level flag me like this, so I bravely ran away because I wanted to live :p

I can vouch that aoes never flagged a player on retail.

Yes, Blizzard did flag Frost Mages that think it is OK to AOE farm quest mob areas.

The same way Prayer of Healing flags Priests.



Somewhere around 3.0 when they included smart heals that avoid flagged people was when AOE went "smart" as well.

Aoe flagging=only way to gank lowbies on the barrens on the pvp server, got some mad whisper after i try this with my 60 dwarf rogue

Pretty stupid that vanilla work like this, i imagine must sucks thinking u can get gank any time by a sneak rogue, on a server that should be safe from this ganking crap
