Can't type in chat at all

Is there some kind of quest I can do before I can type in chat? Because I was able to post once or twice in chat and then it stopped working completely.

Now when I type a message nothing happens, it doesn't appear in the chat log or anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

After lot of gold sellers did spawn the chat 24/7 Nostalrius changed it so players from level 15 or so can start using chat. Sadly no in-game warning about this been made for new characters.

Chat is a pain for lowbies, you have limited messages or whatever, I don't know how it works but you can't spam much.
And sometimes there's a bug too, with the general chat and other, where you can't write in general even as a level 60. You have to /leave general then /join general for fixing it. (This works for every other channel/chat too)

No that isnt his problem, his chat is bugged. I forgot how to fix it, but same thing happened to me 7 months ago. You have to delete your cache or something,
Or try right click on the chat bubble and hover over the checked chat channels, and what you can see.
