This is working perfectly on a certain other server.

That's why I always:

1. Ask a guild rogue to open boxes for me.
2. Group up with them so you can see the loot they receive when opening them.

If you think that he cheated - open an according GM ticket in game.

So by this kind of thinking - if there was a robber making his way around your block you wouldn't want your neighbors to inform any uninformed neighbors of such activities? You'd rather forbid communication and just hope the police take care of it before it happens to anyone else?

Dethrogue's behavior is highly unethical but it ISNT against the rules, so a ticket would do absolutely nothing. Some matters have to be dealt with on a community level.

As to the other posters, I know it's wise to only handle lockbox situations with people you trust, but not everybody has that luxury, if I can save a person or two from getting ripped off then this post is well worth it in my book.

Db.vanillagaming is mostly correct and I have heard most of rogues do this trick they just open shity box and you dont even know the difference, just whisper to me Wargly or Wargyl to open lockboxes I have felt this shitty feeling when I have random gutripper at my early levels on my rogue and got nothing when I was leveling/grinding paladin. It is more about luck but after a while you understand lockboxes has a pattern and fixed level range of items in them. Now I am pretty sure that I have been ripped off before so I will open lockboxes for free in IF. I will try to login around 23.00 server time just to check if anyone wants. If you get suspecious you can just write it to this topic.

Hey! Dethrogue here, I'm here to tell you that all of these people are just mad from receiving bad patterns in their box and or they lack sex lives (LOL) , which is not my fault. You cannot get epics from boxes. I have never stole anything from anyone so bitch please , quit lying. If you were unhappy with the service I provide just use someone else , I'm not stopping you. My regular people out there that know im 100% legit and they give me nice tips everytime , that's why i do this for hours while watching movies. As it was said before just invite me to group if you want to see what I am looting from your boxes (isn't it obvious?)

Thank you very much :)

Tip your rogue, much less likely to happen.

Memegank wrote:Be aware that even grouping with rogues opening your lock boxes isn't foolproof. As rogues can have a lock box of each type in reserve with low value items inside to fool people into thinking they came from their original box.

The two solutions to this are: (1) ask rogue to film opening the box (not practical) (2) only let people you actually trust open boxes for you.

You forgot (3) Level your own rogue and send boxes through the mail.

Why hasn't this been fixed yet? It's been like this since server opening
