Except that the server is run in france and used to be a french server and that their language is full of accents . By the way, why the big hate against people using these letters? Its not like they are cows... Still easy to invite to groups or to read.

Taken directly from the FAQ section:
"WHAT IS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE ON THE SERVER?
English, english, and english. No other language shall be allowed on forum and public channels. It's an important rule to us, and we'll be very attentive to the behaviour of our players regarding this rule."

I believe its less about hate and more about the effort necessary in order to add/invite them into a group... or just typing in their name to whisper them. Its a good security measure against annoying people and stalkers but for everything else its just a hindrance.

Being very honest here - I don't care if they're good at their class or not, I don't want to look through alt-codes just to invite or whisper them. Can you imagine if their entire name consisted of special characters and letters?
Nevertheless, all I asked for was apostrophes. English-speaking people use them, so its not unfair.
