Is this an exploit?

Greetings Nostalrius,

My buddy recently ran an idea across me regarding World PvP scenarios. I'm a mage - and if my buddy and I were getting killed by alliance over and over again and didn't have a healer - and we decide to fight the alliance while in a duel so that I could sheep my friend for the sheep heals while fighting the alliance, would that be considered a bannable exploit?

Or is it just considered "creative use of game mechanics"?

Want to ask here instead of finding out the hard way - I know the Devs don't hesitate to perma ban people on this server.

IMO this is classic AF and shouldnt be considered an exploit as you cant start a duel in combat. It shouldn't be considered reprimand-able imo BUT I'm no one of authority around here. If someone could clarify, that would be gr8.

Combobreaker, I have to agree with you. BUT I know someone who was perma banned for a bug in the game on the Dev's behalf. They'll whip out the ban hammer for anything, so I want to be sure on what they say.

There is nothing in the rules that forbid this but I would recommend you not to do this as the Game Masters are pretty light on the ban-hammer so to speak (My noob opinion and not facts)

We do not "whip out the ban hammer for anything" despite what some banned players claim. You usually only hear their side of the story. As for this, it is allowed. As Combobreaker said, you should not be able to start a duel while in combat, so there isn't anything to exploit. If you are able to duel in combat, please make a report in the Bug Tracker.
