Howdy all, like many others, I'm extremely excited for The Burning Crusade server. It was my most productive era in WoW growing in knowledge and skill, and I'm more than ready to relive it.
However, I'd like to suggest a "One Time Only" feature offered with your character transfer from Vanilla to TBC allowing us to faction change our character as well. This would also be completely optional, you wouldn't have to change if you didn't want to.
This is solely aesthetic to most players, but with the addition of paladin to Horde and shaman to Alliance, it allows players who previously only chose their faction to play that class an opportunity to switch to the faction they really want to play as. This could also help get higher level shamans and paladins into the late game community faster.
Besides the point of player quality of life, another glaring difference lies in the paladin class. I'll likely get laughed out of here for mentioning this, but in TBC, Seal of Blood was just simply better than Seal of Vengeance(Source: http://www.engadget.com/2007/11/27/the- ... -vs-blood/). Whereas most alliance paladins that wanted to play as ret still utilized seal of command, ignoring their new seal, Horde paladins actually got a new seal that was useful to them and increased the amount of damage they done consistently. It would be a shame if current paladins who put so much work into their characters had to either play, willingly inferior, to their Horde counterparts, or had to relevel all over again and redo all their work.
Please feel free to let everyone know your opinion on this. I Hope it's something we can see come to fruition.
