How long is the master looter range?

In retail there is a set range on how far away the target can be before they are ineligible for loot. Is this also true for vanilla? If so, what is this range? I'm farming Maraudon for money and thought I'd make some extra by letting a rogue/warrior have the blackstone ring, can they just stay at the beginning or do they have to follow me all the way to princess?

that's because hes Hunter is lvl 60 so he can skip trash and go straight for the last boss, the rogue/warr that buy ring drop are presumably lvl 45+ and they can't do that (agro range)

and i love that you jump to conclusions that he is multiboxing, and you clearly don't have idea how hunters farm maraudon

Regardless of how correct you are about the Hunters' way, you didn't have to jump on him -just enlighten. Sometimes assumption does get the better of us - keep remarks/comments constructive please x

Back to topic, u cant do that.
If u kill a boss and the others are to far away u cant give the loot to them.
Like xp, at some point mobs stop giving xp because they are to far away from them.

Exactly this. The way the scripting works is the person has to get kill credit. Test out how far the have to be before losing kill credit (they will see with exp pop ups). If they get kill credit, they will be eligible for loot.
