If they can't get banned, why did they get banned?

Bug abuse / exploit is divided into two categories in our Terms of Use, Minor and Major. Minor bug abuse is a warning, Major bug abuse is an immediate ban. We initially deemed the violation these 3 players did to be Major bug abuse and thus an instant ban. After review, it was decided that this was minor bug abuse and thus they were unbanned. That's all there is to it. Now, two minor bug abuses do equal one major bug abuse, so another incident like this and it's all over.

Min-maxing is going to always be dangerous. Someone says its clever use of the game mechanics and other will say it's bug abuse / exploit. What really makes it difficult here is that blizzard got money from subs = they didn't want to ban ppl unless what they did was game-breaking. So the HC guilds who are trying to be best / first kills here (like NOPE, DS & Coalition etc) are always in the edge because they probably did those things in retail were it was allowed. That's why I would personally hope Nost would warn players first and then make strict desicion if something is allowed or not and make announcement. Im pretty sure all guilds can live without songflower buff in 12 years old game if Nost makes that desicion. But make the decision and announce it and there will be no need to ban any top 30 guild raiders.

I think this is a server first, Nos staff unbanning people who didn't do anything non-Blizzlike!

We should remember the fallen, the AV premaders, the Silithus miners, the TradeDispenser guy etc, who gave their lives and accounts to bring us to this moment.

I love that giving away conjured food/water for free/donations fell into the major category.
