The future of the PvP server.

Seeing the massive overpopulation problems on the PvP server already, whats gonna happen when AQ releases? 15k+ people completely butchering the original game experience. Vanilla WoW was not designed for this many people, I think you all know back in the days retail servers had around 4k pop limit and the servers were all alive and blooming. Now, I understand this situation is different, so I would say 8k people on one server would still be acceptable.

I'm not whining that I'm getting ganked on a PvP realm, it's all part of it but there is a point in overpopulation when it's flipping around for the worse. I don't think I have to explain this further... I am sure the devs are very smart and understand exactly how this game was designed and for what population, at least I hope.

Clustering might solve the latency issues but it will not solve the distortion and butchering of the game world and original gameplay experience caused by extreme overpopulation. We all know the population above a certain level will make the game completely unplayable and soulless.

The only solution is a second PvP server with the same timeline. This will cost a lot of money but this is the only viable solution. OR you could allow transfers to the PvE realm and destroy all the items with the transfer that are not supposed to be on the PvE realm yet + forced name change. I'm sure a lot of people would gladly pay that price for the transfer.

TLDR: Should I stay on the PvP server in the hopes there will be a second PvP realm in the near future or just reroll on PvE? Or maybe clustering will be a miracle cure and it has more features I don't know about?

Transfers will never happen, I personally am happy for that.
But this is a hot topic that is being discussed at large.
We might have a real opportunity to realize a brand new Vanilla PvP Server.

Why does that make you happy? Why would the existance of a perfectly voluntary service affect you in any way?
