Lockpicking bug

As long as I remember lockpicking is bugged and you have to trade the box to the rogue for him to open it. I am just wondering how come this bugged was never addressed.

It's impossible to open a lock box from the "will not be traded" section of chat


Not sure why they never fixed it but now you just group with said rogue who's opening box

Was this ever confirmed a bug? I thought this was the way it worked in vanilla as well. And yeah, trust those sneaky rogues with your boxes.

I've opened lockboxes without grouping with the peron and yea just from the "will not be traded" slot.
