Well that's retarded. So we can't do the quest and Nifty Stopwatch is unobtainable? And I personally don't think this should be considered an exploit.

Hah, the good ol' "better delete this and not check if it causes any trouble". The staple of GMs everywhere (if a developer did this, shame on youuuu, shaaaame).
Also a staple of some developers on the official TC though .
