It's rare these days to find a game where you can exert your will on noobs after spending lots of time getting good. It's either you cannot use your skill against lowbies due to the game being bad or restricting access, or you are forced to fight with your own skill level or higher. I mean, sure it's nice to get better and stuff, but whats the point of constantly getting better? why not once in a while use what you worked for and have fun...
Because getting better and beating higher skilled opponents is significantly more rewarding? Seriously, I never understood how people got any gratification by stomping shitters ad nauseam. I mean, the game is pretty void of skill from a pvp perspective in general, but your logic is just so contradictory.
thats in your opinion, while thats fun too I still like to stomp GROUPs of shitters cause then I can feel like a king. And vanilla pvp is basically just TBC pvp, TBC only has a few more spells added... althought TBC does have more comeback mechanics and less 1 shot type stuff I guess but whatever, vanilla is still skillz.
You ever play this game called mount and blade? its basically a fencing type sword fighting game. I got really good at it since it was really fun, and my favourite thing to do was to go in a "seige" match, which is like battlegrounds and use my skill (it was a skill-only game, almost like a medeival counter strike) i would be able to completely ruin like 5 noobs at once, and I just find that fun going around holding my own against multiple people. Of course, I would also go to the tryhard duel servers and fight pros cause thats fun too. But really other games just neglect the part where you get to use your skill against nubs, its fun for you AND the noobs cause then the noobs have someone to look up to and copy to get better.
Speaking of that, when I was a nub in mount and blade, I would get 100%rekt by the pros and I LOVED it cause I got to witness true skill, and I knew the game I was playing was a true skill game where I would get better and one day be those pros. Nowadays, people start games like LoL and fight other noobs, and stay noob for longer. So in fact pros NOT stomping noobs just keeps those noobs noobs for longer, ironically.
