I'm really sad to hear that bad news and feel very upset about the move Blizz did.
But let’s cut to the chase:
1. For those who feel that it is really possible to reincarnate such project (mainly the idea behind it, parity and complete absence of donate-reward systems) I'm glad to say i'm able to provide a hosting machine free of charge.
It is far from top notch systems that are available on the market today, however back in 2010 it was enough to run 4k people lag-free. (Anyway a good point to start working with).
I'm in love with hardware and HA stuff that's my job and hobby 2in1 :nerd:
If someone is interested in such proposal, let me know, i will tell you more about the hardware/connection or whatever you are interested in.
2. For those, who think that any kind of this idea will fail, please, let me know an alternative to Nostalrius, without any kind of donate-vote-reward system and descent population with nice level distribution.
I would be glad to continue WoW journey on a server like this, but sadly, nostalrius was the ONE of a kind.
