Move server host to avoid law

by meow123 » Mon Apr 11, 2016 6:47 am

Hi admins
i have a question, if you move your server host to a non-EU country like Russia or any country where blizz cannot apply law, it is possible to keep it on ?
i saw other servers for example wow circle, they have many players and blizz cannot apply law on russia :D
is this possible or not ? :)

I believe this has been floated before and it can't be done. Blizzard already apparently has the personal details of many of Nost's people so they would find out and be able to sue, regardless. That's why they're planning on releasing their week to the public.

I hope that the Nost team will at least officially endorse a new project that can be hosted somewhere else. They dont have to personally work on it, but it would be a great way of keeping the community together.

Why Atlantiss server who have the same host as Nost!! (in France) and has been "asked" by Blizzard to shut down their server, how is that possible that they said fuck off to him and they are still alive? Why Nost is an exception? Warmane has server host in EU also I guess.
