Apparently Blizzard doesn't know how to pear down their operations to make them cost-effective enough to run a server members of the public can run for a grand a month. They should really let the Nost devs teach them how to run their own game.
This flaw is common to all gigantic structure...
A small cap knows how to do something for 1$, it grows up (eventually with buying other smal companies doing the same thing) and then can do it for 0.5$...
Time goes, the company gets bigger and bigger.
Now it's gigantic and then it costs 2$ to do the thing it could do for 1$ when it was small...
Mostly cause of the number of persons (indirectly) involved..... Means it still could cost 1$ or even 0.5$ to do it but as the company gets bigger indirects costs are added.... (things the small didn't have like more executives, dedicated services for employees and many other things)
Known rule of economics in administrations....
(sorry my english is a bit poor to explain this more clearly)
