Why do people think talent trees were made for customization

Talent trees are to pick if you want to pvp, pve or solo/world pvp.

Is there a said cookie cutter to each, yes. But that is just statistics for min/maxing.


I am not seeing the point of any of this. Other than being a long way of saying there wad an optimal spec for dage end game.

the "original dev intentions" were completely confused. basically, they wanted to give players a facade of customization even while minimizing the amount of consideration necessary in order to end up with a good talent spec. you could pretty much mindlessly dump all of your points into one tree and not do so bad

we're lucky they messed up and didnt streamline vanilla talents as much as they would have hoped to. they are much better now at locking all players of a class into one build or maybe two
