I prefer to wait because:
1. Don't wanna lose more time playing somewhere else to come back on Nostalrius v2 later if it rise.
2. There are no good servers around, when I try them I just feel like playing on average, simply servers which were plenty in the old days.
Many of us already started play on some servers. Others like me prefer to wait but there are some who are still looking for good alternatives to Nostalrius. That's from what you can choose:
Valkyrie - russian dead server with 80% written in russian. Low population.
Vanilla-gaming - non blizzlike, very old server with not much population.
Rebirth - not good reputation, cross faction chat and war effort, low population.
Classic Warcraft - came from nowhere, website and videos are like made by 13 year old in 10 minutes. It's quite good technically but.. 20 online.
Kronos - anti nostalrius community, exp events, item shop and account/gold trading. Frequent disconnects with even 5min+ rollbacks. Broken pets, patchfinding and mobs stuck in textures, evades.
And things like nostalrius.re or vanilla.re or any other crap are just made in 1-2 days by laiks playing on Nostalrius before. They are just vultures trying to benefit from Nostalrius tragedy.
It's very sad but there are no good servers worth playing for now.. not even little close to Nostalrius. The only one worthy of attention but not released yet is Crestfall. It really looks like a good alternative for Nostalrius but nothing sure and we can't play it now so.. be patient and wait is the way to go I guess.
Especially that there is a supposition that Blizzard didn't shutdown Nostalrius but other private servers (competition) could do that by pretending to be Blizzard lawyers.
Feel free to share your way of look, what you guys think about that and what are you gonna do now and after Nostalrius announce depending on what their decision will be.
