My hunch is based on this information, the timing of the shutdown, and an understanding of economics and marketing. Blizzard is in a situation to rebuild good will with many fans, make a good amount of money for low cost, and bring more visibility to their brand. This of course happens if rational decisions are made, but we all know how that goes with Blizzard.


I would honestly love for this to be true, that Blizzards silence is simply them contemplating or preparing for an announcement of legacy, I hold out hope but I fear we'll be living in silence until this "disappears" .
