TB has been a bit of a prat before; he sided with Bethesda during the Paid Mod Workshop fiasco and this does kind of seem like the thing he'd side with Blizzard on.

There's nothing wrong with seeing both sides of things. I just hope the retail fans understand that one day they might be in our position and then they'll regret not having helped create a precident where old content servers were made, either by Blizzard or by licensing.

Truthfully, it takes nothing away from their game, but it adds to the community as a whole. Sure, it forces Blizzard to up their game in terms of new content, but wouldn't that be superbly beneficial to the retail playerbase? Imagine if Blizzard had never deterred into welfare epics (and welfare legendaries . . .), facebook games and pokémon. We would likely never have stopped playing retail.
