I bet my life here is no DDos ! Probably Blizzard shut the BattleNet servers self down, and let it look like the Nos people are the bad guys so all the hate goes no there and not against her "YouThinkYouDoButYouDont corporate policy"

I would like to distance myself from and condemn those who try to sabotage Blizzards servers.

Not only is it childish and petty, it mainly hurts innocent third parties and it is counterproductive to the cause. Or would you say 9/11 has been good PR for Islam in America?

I urge anyone who considers joining an attack to stop. And if you hear anyone saying that they are, ask them to refrain.

Pointing out that you want vanilla servers anywhere you can is fine. As long as Blizzard claim the exclusive right to provide that product you have absolutely every right to ask for it to be provided and even demand it from a company that claims to be in the business of communitybuilding, ethical decitions and embracing your inner geek. Keeping it civil is preferable. People listen more to that. But if you cannot find it within yourself to express yourself in a decent manner, inpolite is still probably better than nothing.

But don't vandalize. Just don't. Ever.

DDOSing: another reason why WoW sucks now, but that's the retail community not Blizzard. It's impossible to pvp without a good proxy.

Lizard squad already took the wrap on their twitter.
I didn't go to the subreddit cause I didn't want to ruin my mood, but are people really that surprised lizard squad is at it again?
Or do they even know and keep blaming us?lol

Such a pathetic commenters too, they downvote anything that is pro Nost, and by reading the comments, you can get a feeling that the games aren't made for gamers anymore.

I read that subreddit and it appears the overwhelming consensus agrees that Lizard Squad themselves is the blame. Over-generalizing doesn't help calm frazzled minds here.

You sell stock when their is a demand to sell. Best time to sell is when they project an increase, selling at the end of an increase is idea but you risk alot. Best to take the hit and dump the stock to people who anticipate it will grow.

It kind of is..you know all the hype before game releases? They don't only hype gamers but Investors I.e stock investors. "When this game is released the stock value is gonna rise by at least 15%!!! Buy now!!!

"Here's a diagram of how many people that preordered" I.e the prorder purchase already DID increase stock value. Buy more before the game is released, after that it will only increase forever and ever and more!

You can replace stock with "game popularity"

Lmao why would the company or investors aggressively look to sell in a period where they project a rise in stock value? That's literally like giving money away.

Im genuinely interested in the logic behind this. Or are you guys just making shit like this up to slander?

Both players and investors will overbuy :D

Is Blizzard justified or not?

Blizzard made the game. But i've already paid for it. I've bought multiple expansions and 10+ years worth of an active subscription. Clearly i've earned the right to play "vanilla", just like 99% of the rest of you. Therefore, they're unjust for shutting down Nostalrius, especially since Bliz has little to gain except maybe a few new subscribers, at the cost of many cancellations and possibly worse. So anyone who says "poor Blizzard" needs to rethink their perspective and realize that asking them nicely won't accomplish anything as they've already proven. Unless you just want to feel warm and fuzzy under the delusion that Bliz actually cares about us.

Blizzard doesn't care about us, as they consistently demonstrated. They abruptly shut down Nostalrius that had over 150,000 active accounts that caused EVERYONE to lose months and years of work into our characters, along with friends and the relationships we made. FOR WHAT? For the slight chance that some of us would renew our subscription for Legion, and to destroy competition against their kids playground called "live".

Our characters aren't just pixels. They're artistic representations of ourselves and a medium of expression. Blizzard destroyed that for no good reason except greed and minimal profits, if any. So Blizzard is morally wrong in this case, and I could care less if they get DDOS'd. They deserve it, but their hosting company doesn't. And if we want Blizzard to reverse the C&D then they need to be treated like an enemy. But let me be clear, i'm not advocating anything illegal.

The only reason why we would try to keep good relations with Blizzard is if they HADN'T issued the C&D and we're trying to convince them not to. Otherwise, who cares what they think if we still don't have a "real" vanilla server to play on because of them? Despite the fact that we've already paid them plenty of money for a 15 year old version of the game.

But maybe we should focus on Activision instead. Or better yet, the actual people who run it. Peace.
