That's a fair point, he might actually be able to talk to Blizzard directly.

Interesting article about his time as CEO of Red 5.

Yeah I suppose it's somewhat relatable to running one of the biggest MMO phenomenons into the ground, losing over half of the subscribers of the game in question and producing absolute garbage as content while the withered game breathes its last breaths on life support simply due to what it was in size in days past.
The Blizzard team is highly competent : D

Haha please don't think I'm defending the current WoW team. Just got a couple of concerns about Kern.

Yeah of course, whatever his misgivings in the recent past it couldn't have been all that bad 12 years ago since they managed to shit out vanilla wow, and personally for me it's nice to see someone who had actually something to do with the creation of it speak out in the current situation.

Wow what a great way to pitch intentions to work for a company, to include a hashtag meme basically insulting one of their lead devs.

The hashtag is a direct quote of one of their lead devs - the quote certainly insulted those of us who love vanilla and want legacy servers, but if just reciting J Allen Brack's own words back to him is considered an insult, perhaps he should have been smart enough not to say them.

And I saw no indication that Mark Kern had any desire to return to work for Blizzard - he simply suggested that Blizzard hire the Nost devs.

He was team lead of the Vanilla dev crew. The man is a god in my eyes.

If you think that way then check this out.

Allen Brack drove Star Wars Galaxies to the ground, then got hired by blizzard to lead the dev team of World of Warcraft. Check where WoW is now with him on the lead

Who's to say Mike likes Mark? Just throwing it out there, Greg Street could have commented on this, but he won't because he's best buds with Ion Hazzikostas and tries to avoid making him look bad.
