That's a horrible question to ask and Greg's response is very appropriate. I think a better question to ask would have been, "would u ever play on a legacy server of wow that is hosted by Blizzard?". Obviously this implies paying a monthly sub.

Keep in mind that most (if not all former employees of Blizz) are bound by an NDA agreement. That is a good reason to keep a "politician-like" stature.

Ghostcrawler joined Blizzard a few months before wotlk and if anything always pushed for dumbing down the game even further, Sunwell's badge gear being equivalent to T5 being but the first of things.

It's funny though, the more accessible the game (WoW) became, the fewer the subscribtions.

I wonder when Blizzard will pick up on that trend.
Notice how the subsciber count stops increasing in WOTLK, when raids became freely available to the most incompetent of pugs. In spite of having the best (in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) pvp content, the subscribers still started disappearing. ICC being current content for a full year surely didn't help that.

Needless to say, the pay to use cosmetics, Blizzard™ goldselling and facebookesque app-minigames torpedo'd their subscriber ship.
