Why doesnt Blizz just employ Nos? that would be win-win

I just read the blue post from mmo-champion, in which J. Allen Brack, a Blizzard employee just said that
they have recently been in contact with some of the folks who operated Nostalrius.
so I just thought why not just employ those folks, just to operate a whole seperated, stand alone client and realms for Vanilla lovers to play ?
thus Nos would have no copyright problems, we pay Nos to play the vanilla, and Nos pay some money to Blizzard, everybodys happy then .

Don't want to admit kids in a basement do a better job than them. Whether Nost staff are kids in a basement is something else, its just the perception that caught on and Blizzard lost any sense of humility a long time ago.

They can't accept defeat with that people actually want to play older patches of the game again rather than their trash retail. They continue to make excuses when they took the time to shutdown Nost yet still won't host their own. Now they're considering "pristine" servers, which are basically just retail servers with a few things removed. It's them pretending to give people what they want, while actually doing nothing at all. If this comes to light, it'll be nothing more than a shallow attempt to herd people over to retail, and those servers will be complete ghost towns.

That they actually think Pristine servers would replace Vanilla/TBC just goes to show how out of touch they are with the player.

So now that they think they have a solution to appease the masses, they will launch one or two Pristine servers, only a small handful of people will play and their response to that will be "You see, they really didn't want legacy servers at all. The project was a complete failure, so no more talk of legacy servers"
