Buy 1 Share of Activision Blizzard = you have a voice

by Hydra9268 » Wed Apr 27, 2016 5:29 am

Mark: Want a voice with Activision/Blizzard? Buy 1 share and attend the shareholder meeting and ask why they are leaving money on the table.

Retail players think we're not willing to spend money on vanilla. I put in my order for 1 share. Costs $44. Worth the opportunity to ask my question. And because I'm going to officially be a shareholder Blizzard has provide an answer.

Doubtful many people will put up the account minimums to have an online broker. They will need to brush up on how to do it at minimal cost and get familiar with fee's. On a side note Im going to buy a few just to wear my Nostalrius shirt to a meeting.

Meetings are done sadly only via webex (voice com) - I've had a fair amount of Activision Blizzard shares for ~9.32 USD and sold for 23.30 USD, making quite a bit of money (although now its at about 30+, but still.. more than double!). Some banks can open up a share-market account if you have an active income in their bank, for free. Then its only up to the ppl how much they are willing to risk.

Don't think you can voice questions in there, maybe write them up in a summary to be presented at the shareholder meeting, but you would need to be a decent minority shareholder (talking whole percentage here).

Yeah a 1% share is something like 700k stocks. Thats about 24 million or so. We can do it guys!

24 million split between the private server community actually isn't that bad.
We could aim for 10%.

jk I'm dreaming. Most of the slacker leeches, who are just here for the free fun and don't want to lift a finger to preserve or improve, will obviously not pay.

This actually seems like a decent idea..... something that would actually have a great impact on their decisions.

Hit them where the money is.

1 share is meaningless, but what it does do is gives me a voice with the BODs. Legally, Blizzard would have to answer my questions; regardless of how many shares I own. So yes, the opportunity to ask a question / make a statement to the decision makers was worth $44.

Companies what have hundreds of stock holders often have inside rules when you are taken as "big investor" what means there is at least 2 levels of stock holders. For "low" influence stock holder this can mean more like presentation type gathering, where up coming financial decisions are introduced. Your job is to eat their offered dinner, drink coffee/ tea and clap your hands in the presentation event.

Big stock holders have their own entity as "Board of directors" - 1 stock really does not matter or even be invited to that table.

If someone have any info how Activision Blizzard have made their rules for "Annual General Meeting - AGM" we could be more precise how it really works in reality.
