Big ol' NOPE. I assume OP is an anti legacy troll, but I want the people that can make this happen see that these sort of changes ARE NOT WHAT MOST OF US WANT. You're talking about Sodapoppin's audience. That should tell you the sort of answers you're going to get. These are the people that jumped on the Legacy train late in the game, and most probably haven't even played Vanilla (live or private).
Dungeon and PvP queue systems would be a must. I don't mind walking around everywhere but not directly to every single dungeon
I had a reply for most of the points, but this one is what made me want to reply. If I were to reply to every point, we'd be here all day reading my reply. No one wants that.
Queue systems take people out of the world, and keep them in cities. I am 100% not a PvPer (almost always roll PvE, I'm a carebear) but I'd be willing to bet that the queue system is a huge part of what destroyed world PvP. My first character was on a PvP server and while I prefer PvE, I have many good memories of world PvP. Another thing - the fact that I can
easily run RFC as Alliance and Stockades as Horde now bothers me. Yes, it bothers me. I remember running into Stormwind with my Horde characters waaaay back in the day and dying a ton just to get to the instance with my friends. Running Deadmines as Horde was also a pain because Westfall was Alliance territory, and it was almost always highly populated. As a side note, forcing players to run to instances makes them learn the maps. There's no excuse when they die and can't find the instance entrance.
AOE Looting
I love me some AOE loot. However, if Legacy servers do become a reality, I am absolutely
not expecting AOE loot to be implemented. It was not a feature in the earlier expansions, so no one should expect it to happen. When I think about it, I might even be a little mad if they did implement it just because it wasn't a part of WoW until very recently.
IMO, keep it as Vanilla as possible. Yes, there were class and spec imbalances. Yes, doing stuff (instances, questing, etc.) took a long time because travel was slow or difficult. That's a huge part of what made the game fun for me. When I got to level 40 it felt awesome because I could get my 60% mount. When I obtained things that people now take for granted, it felt like a huge accomplishment. Now I don't even care about hitting level 20 because I've been using the BOA mount since level 1. Heck, I could level without mounts at all and I wouldn't notice a difference. Hit level 15, queue dungeons until 100, all set - no mount needed!
TL;DR -
No.
