Twitch Research shows promising results for Vanilla

French research firm Gamoloco gathered data from Twitch between April 2015 versus April 2016. Here's what they found that are positive indicators for the success of Legacy servers.

• "old games" dominate
• Runescape is growing exponentially

There is also a list Sodapoppin put together of top Twitch streamers who have pledged to stream vanilla content. 14 million combined viewers. That would instantly make vanilla / Legion the number one game.

There would definitely be an upswing of viewers in the WoW section, I honestly think Legion would be obsolete after a couple of months competing with retail vanilla, TBC and WotLK. These versions offers more dedication, they're unforgiving and attracts more drama which pulls viewers.

It's never been about graphics or how new a game is, the research proves it!
